Sumpu Castle Lights
Highlights
At the center of Shizuoka's history and culture, it is a symbolic tourist attraction in the city center. In the spring, the castle is illuminated at night, and the vast park is crowded with people. Other than the cherry blossom season, night viewing from outside the castle is recommended. Enjoy the beautiful night view of the illuminated turrets, stone walls, and moat reflected in the water. Use the wooden lanterns and willow trees on the sidewalks as a backdrop to take pictures full of emotion. There is also a statue of Yaji Kita（southeast side）and Ieyasu's Walk（southwest side）on the sidewalk around the Nakabori moat, so you can enjoy strolling at night while experiencing the history of the area.
